My dream in high school was to play for Otago. Watching the blue and gold play at Carisbrook throughout the 90s especially against the Springboks, Counties or Auckland, were vivid memories. ‍I missed out on a couple of Otago representative teams when I was between 16-19 years, and I nearly gave in. I played league and focused on other sports during this time. I changed schools as well, and things were slowly changing for me. Fast forward a few years down the track

My dream in high school was to play for Otago. Watching the blue and gold play at Carisbrook throughout the 90s especially against the Springboks, Counties or Auckland, were vivid memories.

I missed out on a couple of Otago representative teams when I was between 16-19 years, and I nearly gave in. I played league and focused on other sports during this time. I changed schools as well, and things were slowly changing for me. Fast forward a few years down the track, I achieve my goal of making the Otago Rugby NPC squad at 20 years of age. My dream came true.
